The graphic image that will represent Catalan culture at the Frankfurt Book Fair is a drawing by the Mallorcan artist  Miquel Barceló.  It bears the motto: Catalan Culture, Unique and Universal in the artist’s own calligraphy. The image was unveiled in Frankfurt on 5 October last year during the press conference at which the guest of honour for the 2007 Book Fair was presented.
