Poeta. No va començar a publicar fins el 1968, quan Proa va treure el volum que cinc anys abans havia obtingut el Premi Carles Riba, L’home i el límit. Més endavant va publicar Poemes de baixa freqüència (Edicions 62, 1976), amb la seva producció inèdita entre 1963 i 1973. A partir de llavors, van aparèixer el recull Samsara (Prometeo, 1982), amb una llunyana inspiració orientalitzant, Oniris i el tret del caçador (Columna, 1987), L’ocell que udola (Columna, 1990), La cançó de la metamorfosi (Columna, 1995) o Demiúrgia (Columna, 1996), que li va merèixer el Premi de la Institució de les Lletres Catalanes. També ha rebut el Premi Crítica Serra d’Or per Subllum (Proa, 2000), i el 2003 rep el Premi Ciutat de Barcelona i el Premi Nacional de Literatura per Les Imminències (Proa, 2002).

Dichter. Erst 1968 begann er zu veröffentlichen, als der Proa-Verlag seinen fünf Jahre zuvor mit dem Carles-Riba-Preis ausgezeichneten Band, Der Mensch und die Grenze, herausgab. Später veröffentlichte er Niedervolt-Gedichte (Edicions 62, 1976), mit unveröffentlichten Gedichten aus den Jahren zwischen 1963 und 1973. Es folgte der Sammelband Samsara (Prometeo, 1982) von leicht orientalischem Einschlag, Oniris und der Schuss des Jägers (Columna, 1987), Der heulende Vogel (Columna, 1990), Das Metamorphosen-Lied (Columna, 1995) und Demiurgie (Columna, 1996), wofür er den Preis der Institution der katalanischen Schriften erhielt. Desweiteren wurde er mit dem Preis Crítica Serra d’Or für Unterlicht (Proa, 2000) ausgezeichnet, und 2003 mit dem Preis der Stadt Barcelona und dem Nationalen Kultur-Preis für Literatur für Unmittelbarkeiten (Proa, 2002).

Poet. Màrius Sampere did not begin to publish until 1968, when Proa brought out the volume that five years earlier had won the Carles Riba Prize, The Man and the Limit. From that point forth he published Poems of Low Frequency (Edicions 62, 1976), containing his unpublished work from between 1963 to 1973. Appearing after that would be the Samsara collection (Prometeo, 1982), with its orientalist inspirations from beyond, Oniris and the Shot of the Hunter (Columna, 1987), The Howling Bird (Columna, 1990), The Song of the Metamorphorsis (Columna, 1995) and Demiurge (Columna, 1996), which won the Prize of the Institution of Catalan Letters. He also received the Crítica Serra d’Or Prize for Sublight (Proa, 2000) and in 2003 he received the Ciutat de Barcelona Award and the National Prize for Literature for The Imminences (Proa, 2002).
