FERRER, Vicent (Formentera, 1967)

Professor de Llengua i Literatura a l’educació secundària és llicenciat en Filologia Catalana per la Universitat de Barcelona. És membre fundador del col·lectiu ADN de dibuixants, guionistes, escriptors, il·lustradors. Investigador en el terreny de la toponímia i la literatura medieval catalana, així com dins l’àmbit de la pedagogia i la planificació lingüística escolar. És autor, principalment, de textos teatrals amb títols com Eren pesants, els gots… (Mediterrània, 2001), S’illa de ses dones (Mediterrània, 2003), Cartutxos a la frontera (El Gall, 2003), Snif… Snif… Corsaris! (El Gall, 2006), però també ha fet algunes incursions en el món del còmic com a il·lustrador i guionista. Col·laborador de l’Enciclopèdia d’Eivissa i Formentera, escriu habitualment als mitjans de la premsa escrita de l’illa.

Ferrer, der an der Universität Barcelona Katalanische Philologie studiert hat, arbeitet als Lehrer für Sprache und Literatur an einer weiterführenden Schule. Er ist eines der Gründungsmitglieder der Gruppe ADN, zu der sich Zeichner, Drehbuchautoren, Schriftsteller und Illustratoren zusammengeschlossen haben. Er erforscht katalanische Ortsnamen und katalanische Literatur des Mittelalters und arbeitet im pädagogischen Bereich, wo er bei der Planung der Sprachpolitik an den Schulen mitwirkt. Unter seinen Theaterstücken verdienen besondere Erwähnung Sie waren schwer, die Gläser ... (Mediterrànea, 2000), Die Insel der Frauen (Mediterrànea, 2003), Patronen an der Grenze (El Gall, 2003) und Schnief... Schnief... Korsaren! (El Gall 2006), doch hat er sich auch als Illustrator und Textbuchautor einiger Comics einen Namen gemacht. Er wirkt an der Enzyklopädie von Ibiza und Formentera mit und schreibt regelmäßig für die Printmedien Formenteras.

He is a founding member of the collective ADN (DNA) formed by designers, scriptwriters, writers and illustrators. He has done work in the study of place-names and in medieval Catalan literature. He writes primarily for the theatre with works such as The Dogs were Heavy (Mediterrània, 2001), Island of Women (Mediterrània, 2003), Cartridges on the Border (El Gall, 2003), Sniff…Sniff…Corsairs! (El Gall, 2006) but has also worked in the field of comics as an illustrator and writer. A contributor to the Encyclopedia of Ibiza and Formentera, he writes regularly for the Formentera press.
