Escriptor, advocat, teòleg i actual ambaixador del Principat d’Andorra. Cofundador de la revista Andorra 7, així com de l’editorial Serra Airosa. Ha publicat estudis d’investigació sobre la Revolució Francesa i Andorra, i sobre la Nova Reforma del 1866 amb títols com Boris I, rei d’Andorra (La Magrana, 1984). El seu darrer títol és El vell i els anyells (Andbanc, 2005), Premi Manel Cerqueda de novel·la curta (2004). Després del primer llibre de poemes, Set lletanies de mort (Laia, 1983), va publicar Als límits de l’alba (Grafinter, 1987) o L’esdevenidor assumit (Trames, 1992), entre d’altres. El seu darrer llibre, La neu adversa (Proa, 1999), va merèixer el Premi Carlemany. Col·labora habitualment a la premsa andorrana i estrangera.

Er veröffentlichte diverse Forschungsarbeiten über die Französische Revolution und Andorra und über die Neue Reform von 1866, wie z.B. Boris I, König von Andorra (La Magrana, 1984). Außer seinem ersten Gedichtband, Sieben Todeslitaneien (Laia, 1983), kamen u.a. Am Rande der Dämmerung (Grafinter, 1987) und Akzeptierte Zukunft (Trames, 1992) heraus. Sein jüngster Gedichtband, Feindlicher Schnee (Proa, 1999), brachte ihm den Carlemany-Preis ein. Zuletzt erschien von ihm Der Alte und die Lämmer (Andbanc, 2005), ausgezeichnet mit dem Premi Manel Cerqueda für Kurzprosa 2004. Er ist freier Mitarbeiter diverser andorranischer und ausländischer Medien.

Writer, lawyer, theologian and current Ambassador to the Principality of Andorra. Antoni Morell is the co-founder of the magazine Andorra 7, as well as of the publishing house Serra Airosa. He has published research studies on the French Revolution and Andorra, as well as about the “Nova Reforma” of 1866 with titles such as Boris I, King of Andorra (La Magrana, 1984). His latest published work is The Old Man and the Yearling Lamb (Andbanc, 2005), winner of the Manel Cerqueda Prize for the novella (2004). After his first book of poems Seven Death Litanies (Laia, 1983), he published To the Limits of Dawn (Grafinter, 1987) and The Assumed Future (Trames, 1992), among others. His most recent novel, The Adverse Snow (Proa, 1999), won the Carlemany Prize. He is a regular contributor to the Andorran and foreign press.
